Anyone know if there was a transfer -- free or otherwise -- between the Third Avenue El at Grand Street and the Bowery Station on the Broadway/Jamaica line (today's J train).
Grateful for any clarification.

Probably not. The only transfers from the El to the subway of which I am aware were to replace former through elevated services (e. g., to the Flushing line to replace the Second Avenue El branch over the Queensborough Bridge). -- BruceG (talk) 02:04, December 30, 2015 (UTC)
