The Waterbury Traction Company was a streetcar operating company in Waterbury, Connecticut. It was created in 1893 by the consolidation of the Connecticut Electric Co. and the Waterbury Horse Railroad Co.. In 1899 it was sold to the Connecticut Light & Power Co., (which in 1901 became Connecticut Railway & Lighting Co.).
From 1906 to 1936, its routes were among those leased by CR&L to The Connecticut Company. In 1936, along with all other CR&L routes, the leases on its routes were voided for nonpayment.
